Howdy! Come out n' play! Come join us for our Wednesday Open Mic & Jam Session at Connaughton's Riverdale Steak House the Riverdale Steak House. Mark The Harper starts it off with a short set on guitar and harmonica, sometimes accompanied by an instrumentalist gust (perhaps you?), then participants get to perform 2 or more songs of their own, either originals or covers. New collaborations and jamming encouraged! ALL musical genres are welcome! Bring your own instruments and percussion. Solo, Duo, Trio.... whateva... You can showcase your own songs. If you're an accompanist (violin, flute, accordion, flute, sax, harmonica, etc) you can jam with someone there! There's no keyboard but if you want to bring a little one to plug in (preferably bring a little amp for it) that's cool, too. There is a small P.A. and a few mics. If you want to bring a small amp, you're welcome to. Don't bring tracks to sing to, cuz this ain't Karaoke. If you want to rap, please bring a buddy with a conga, djem |
